Moving onto InDesign

This week was dedicated to learning about Adobe InDesign and how to navigate the software. InDesign is mostly used for magazine spreads and other layout spreads. I had used InDesign for a little bit in my high school graphic design class.

Magazines are not really as popular as they were in the early 2000s, so that got me thinking about how useful the application is. Obviously there are other articles, postcards, flyers, brochures, etc.. that also can use the features of this software to create a layout that is perfect for the publication of print.

You can see design layout changes across more media than just printed material. Layout changes happen all of the time around us. Now, with the digital media age, websites and social media platforms change their layout constantly. Updates are making layouts more user friendly and easier to use, unless you are more adapted to the older versions.
